b2 Chalfont Clinic is a trading name of b2: Chalfont Chiropractic Clinic Ltd, and we pride ourselves on protecting your private information. Under the new GDPR guidelines the clinic will both act as a Processor and Controller of personal data. It is important however that you understand that we have no intention, now or in the future, of selling, renting or trading our email lists with any other companies for marketing purposes. You can be confident that your information, with us, is safe. And just in case you don't believe us, we have detailed and highlighted when and why we collect your personal information, how we keep it safe and how we use it to make your experience with the clinic the best it can be.
Types of Data We Collect
When you visit one of b2 Chalfont Clinic’s websites we use Google Analytics, a third party service, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This helps us gauge and appropriately manage our visitor’s interaction with our sites and their pages. Information is kept anonymous and we do not allow Google to make any attempt to identify any of the visitors to our websites.
As part of the registration process at the clinic, you are added to the clinic’s email list. This is simply to streamline our post-treatment service. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations or businesses.
We use an email distributor, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer Alison Meads.
Personal and Clinical Information
As an established healthcare practice we take holding and protecting your information very seriously. It is treated with the utmost care and confidentiality. The information we collect is held and stored in two separate formats – cloud-based and paper.
Our cloud-based diary and appointment management program (Cliniko) is responsible for storing and processing the clinic’s patient information. In order for the clinic to perform its duties of care to the best of our ability it is important that you consent to the storage of your data.
You will have the Right to Access every piece of personal information that the clinic has stored, on Cliniko, about you in an easy-to-read format. If this is something that you ever require then please contact our Data Protection Officer, Alison Meads.
In order for us to perform the duty of care that you entrust us with, it is imperative that we obtain specific pieces of information about you during your initial visit to the clinic. This information is used to identify, protect and treat you in accordance with our governing bodies.
Our file room is a kept secure at all times, and patient files around the clinic are treated with the utmost confidentiality.
Access to Your Personal Information
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer Alison Meads.
Occasionally we will review our procedures to ensure that your data is secure. To enable complete transparency, we will always document the most recent date when the policy was reviewed at the bottom of the this policy.
